We are the staff team of Sport for Development charity, Sported. As a charity we support over 3,000 amazing community clubs and groups that use the power of sport to transform the lives of disadvantaged young people. We are a small, but dedicated team – we have 11 staff members based in our central office in London and  15 regional staff spread across the UK. We also manage over 250 volunteers across the UK, all from professional backgrounds who provide free one-to-one business support to our members in order to help them grow and continue their fantastic work in their communities.

Why we are completing these challenges

Annie has kindly nominated Sported as one of two charities she is supporting as part of her 52 challenges. Inspired by her ambition and determination, we have decided to undertake our own 52 challenges! Between the team we climbing mountains, doing triathlons and snowboarding down mountains, amongst many other physical activities . We have also invited our volunteer mentor team to consider their own active challenges for 2015. We will continue to add additional events to our list as we go until we reach our goal of 52 - the Sported 52!
